With the Corona Virus shutting down theatre The Fruitcake Follies wanted to do a little something to help the campaign to save our theatrical home at the Cavern Club Theatre in the base of Casita Del Campo.
QUARANTINED CONVERSATIONS is the creation of Wesley Boutilier who did a documentary short about the children's series I did in the 90s, CLOWN-TV. Sam Zeller was my rival clown on that show and we had fun pretending to hate each other. Wesley brought me on as a surprise guest during the last portion of the interview.
Larry LaFond and I are pulling out our greatest never before heard (much less seen) screenplays during this Covid-19 isolation. So Friday night we're doing a reading via Zoom. A has been TV actress from a long cancelled detective show returns to her home town to help her parents and ends being hired by a 9 year boy, who thinks she's a real detective, to solve a real life crime. Starring in alphabetical order: Sandra Benton, Mel England, Ernest Harden Jr., Nathan McCollum, Wendy Michaels, Jeffrey Patrick Olson, Terry Ray and Leslie Thurston. If you have a couple hours in need of a comedy--watch!
