 This is my first time to include sad news here on my website. I'm very sad to mention the passing of the amazing Suzanne Whang on September 20, 2019. You might know Suzanne as the host on the show HOUSE HUNTERS. Suzanne was one the fabulous series regulars on my sitcom FROM HERE ON OUT (a show about making a bad, cheesy gay detective show called GUY DUBAI, INTERNATIONAL GAY SPY). She brilliantly played a Korean maid, Divina Sun Hee. Divina had a thick accent (Suzanne had none) and she thought of herself as a brilliant actress in the vein of Meryl Streep. She was not. But Suzanne was. In each episode Suzanne had to play the Korean accent while trying to bad act with a Scottish, or Hawaiian or Swedish accent as the maid bribed her way into every episode of GUY DUBAI. Suzanne gave me the awesome compliment that Divina was her favorite role. No one could have done it better. She was hilarious and perfection. She was funny at everything she did. She was inspiring. She was my friend and she will be missed.
