 So proud to be part of Artists Rise Up LA's premiere benefit performance at the El Portal Theatre: "E PLURIBUS UNUM: OUT OF MANY, ONE". The sold-out night raised money for 5 worthy charities that are at risk under the Trump administration. I wrote a piece called VOTE that was like a School House Rock styled comedy about the Electoral College. Steve Rosenbaum directed with Dena Drotar, Kevin Allen Scott, Bryan Johnson, Eric Seppala, Alyssa Goss and Jule Johnson as my castmates. The evening of nearly 30 acts--including songs, dance and scenes was directed by Sue Hamilton. Here's a link to a terrific LA Times review of the powerful and inspirational night!
