Mel England and I get to talk about our careers and especially my play ELECTRICITY as immersive theater in real hotel room at INNdulge in Palm Springs with the wonderful Scott Fullerton on THE LEFT OF STR8 SHOW. I'll be at CINEMA DIVERSE, Palm Springs' LGBTQ Film Festival September 23rd and 24th! CHILD OF THE 70s will be screening as part of their OUTweb program on the 23rd. And on the 24th I have a supporting role in Jason Stuart's short drama LIKE FATHER.
Very excited to be back doing PSYCHO THE MUSICAL with my brilliantly talented and fun castmates and production team! This time the fabulous Calpernia Addams joins the family. AND sounds like more cites and dates will be announced soon. We're at the GASLAMP in Long Beach on September 10th. The GASLAMP is usually a concert venue (I think we're their first play) so the sound system is great and the lights rock--literally. Can't wait!
GAYDAR has been the gift that keeps on giving. We made the film 16 years ago and on September 10th it is being honored by the CALIFORNIA INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL for their 20th anniversary as one of their favorite all time top 20 comedy short films. We're so flattered. And just a few days ago a festival in Cambridge, England just asked to screen GAYDAR--which is approximately our 122nd festival with this film. My GAYDAR partner, Larry LaFond and I are so flattered and grateful that people continue to enjoy the film. And a special shout out to the brilliant Charles Nelson Reilly--GAYDAR was his last on camera screen role. If you haven't seen GAYDAR, click on link below to watch for free.
